With that logic why not just argue that Pema is Amon? She’s an Air Acolyte so she’s probably been trained in fighting, she can keep a close eye on the Avatar, she’s a non-bender which is motive enough and where the hell is she when Amon appears? Eh? The evidence is overwhelming.

Wow, okay. What do you want me to do, apologise? And I don’t know why you bothered with being anon, I simply went through the legend of korra tag and saw which gif had one note.
It’s not a threat if you’re that attractive!

I wasn’t expecting word-for-word at all. In fact, with the size of the series cuts had to be made and elements readjusted. However, I was not expecting subversive racism, inaccurate characterization and just plainly offensive changes.
1) The blatant whitewashing of all of the main characters. It is undeniable and the greatest failing of this movie. There is no getting around the fact Katara and Sokka are. not. supposed. to. be. white.
2.) The complete lack of accurate characterization. Aang in the movie shows no resemblance to the optimistic and fun loving character that made him so likeable. Sokka is made into just another white brooding hero.
3.) The acting was truly terrible in some scenes, only exceptions really being Zuko and Iroh.
4.) Changing the authentic calligraphy of the series to squiggles. I can’t even.
I’m not going to chastise you for liking it as of course you are entitled to your opinion. However do not dismiss the legitimate reasons people have to be incredibly upset and angry with the movie.

This pretty much sums up the whole movie. Katara, a decent waterbender, pushes a Firenation guard and then just looks the other way.

Sokka: Master of Logic!
