Taking this on to a slightly related tangent. I do find it amusing when people go on about how Amon was such a ~tragic character~ and oh jeez don’t you get ~immense feels~ when he’s with his brother at the end. People seem to completely forget the fact that Amon brutally murders one of his closest allies in the blink on an eye.
This isn’t to say you shouldn’t love Amon. I really like Amon; thought he had the potential to be one of the greatest villains ever. But I also get slightly frustrated when people completely ignore that he bombed cities, actually killed people and had no worries about terrorizing innocent kids. Love him a character, prefer if people didn’t idolize and woobify him so much…
