Well if I can just ignore the epic fail that was comparing an interracial relationship to colonisation then I would say Kataang was rather…dramatic in part 3. 

Aang goes into the Avatar State? Tacklehug! See a cool family in Yu Dao? Reveal your baby-making plans! Aang has to go and be alone for 5 panels? Kiss passionately and cry slightly! Aang returns after 7 minutes? Running hug and then hold his arm! 

(Not complaining in the slightest, just making a totally objective observation.)
