If we knew how old Korra was we could figure it out. I'm not sure if they mentioned how old he is yet. With that said, Sokka and Katara and the rest may have died after Aang. And who knows, maybe Aang died like Roku fighting off a volcano or saving a village...

To hear that not just Aang but the rest of them to have died young'ish is really sad. Considering how long some of the characters like Bumi can live until. :(
